about

This is one of the first songs I ever wrote on guitar. I wrote it to play at the Coffee House open mic that the Intermountain Acoustic Music Association hosted at the First Unitarian Church on 6th South and 13th East in Salt Lake City Utah.

Without that Coffee House, and people like Guy Benson, Kate McCloud, and others I don't know if I'd still be playing guitar today. They were encouraging, and supportive of my music in it's infancy. I played my first set there after having only played guitar for 6 months. They could've laughed or just ignored me, but they were kind, encouraging, and it made me want to come back.

I wrote this instrumental; taking an idea from the winter hymn, "In the bleak Mid-Winter". I was trying to figure out how to play the Beatle's "Blackbird", couldn't do it, got frustrated, and wrote this instead. haha funny how that happens.

We produce music that is deeply meaningful to us, and hope that you will give it a listen, like, and share it with your friends and family.
