I used to stay up Pau'oa Valley right outside of Honolulu. I had a weird health issue that kept me up late into the night coughing. It was not fun. It did; however, put me out on the lanai during the night as I didn't want to wake anybody up.

I'd sit out there and look up over the ridge of the valley, and see the moon rising, the stars rotating in the sky, and felt that sweet sweet breeze.

That's where this song comes from. Listening to it now makes me cringe, and truth be told, I'd like to re-write it, re-record it with the full band to turn it into something that I can listen to again. haha

That being said, I know that there are folks out there who like this song. It's been featured on music shows (mostly podcasts) literally all over the world. I figured that I'd make it available for download here, and hope that you folks enjoy it.
